I know a few people who rave about this place... Why can't they fry falafel? The falafel pita (which the menu states "all pitas" come with tzatziki sauce) came wrapped with hummus. Although the veggie pita option comes with hummus. Why did my falafel pita not come with tzatziki? All 3 pieces were burnt! And the inside was complete mush. They were nice enough to make me another set... Burnt the same. Left with a horrible burnt taste in my mouth. Change the oil or turn the heat down.

We absolutely love this place! The friendly girl behind the counter remembers my order and is such a sweetheart to deal with. Very highly recommended- the food is well worth the money and is so delicious, it's one of our favorite restaurants around!

First, a message for "Tony D.": - "Yo", stick to McDonald's, homie! This type of food is not for you, "bro"! God hasn't provided you with the proper taste buds to understand this food. You only have McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's etc. type of taste buds. But don't feel guilty, homie, it's not your fault! Now, the review: One of the best Greek food in Boca, if not THE best. Nice people, attentive. Price is just right. Don't expect Morton's conditions, because it doesn't pretend to be. People who complained either have no clue how this type of place should be, or ended up there in error.

Delicious! Got the "Sole of Greece" special, which included fresh sole, a small Greek salad, fries, and tzatiski sauce. I also ordered an unsweetened frappe coffee which was only $2. I will almost certainly be coming back this week.

Here from Chicago on vacation . Saw all the great reviews on yelp and thought I'd check it out . Place was spotless and very well looked brand new . I ordered the gyros with Greek fries . The gyros was amazing ! The Greek fries ? Omg they had olive oil and feta cheese on them . I've never tasted anything like that before and it was wonderful . Staff was very friendly and informative . This place nailed it !! Even had George Dalaras playing ! So do yourselves a favor and if you're not a regular , and check this place out . I'm coming back tonight and probably try the ribeye souvlaki .!

I used the "order delivery" feature here in the Yelp app to order a couple of chicken pitas on a lazy Monday night. It was very easy to use. A third party delivery service called Foodoozle (I think) charged me $3.99 for delivery. What's four bucks when you want to be lazy after a long Monday, right? Anyhoo, the food was delivered in about an hour and it was tasty as usual. You really can't go wrong with the food here. Always good. Always comforting.

It may not be authentically Greek, but it does the job, is healthy(er) than most alternatives, and the service was fast. I tried the gyro, not the Souvlaki, for which they're named for, and thought it wasn't bad. The rice could use some work as it was very bland and tasted like something out of a box, but the price was great (about $10), considering you get a salad, tzatziki, your choice of meat, rice, and pita. They call the number on your receipt when the food is ready and you bring it to your table. I was looking for something quick to eat before heading to Wakodahatchee and this fit the bill, and was much healthier than a hamburger at a fast food joint. The cashier wasn't very pleasant, but we didn't have to deal with her much except for placing the order and then paying. Good inexpensive spot while on the run.

The pork gyro at this place is amazing! I'm no a low carb diet, but I always jump off the bandwagon to eat a gyro from this place. So damn good! edit: This review is for the Boca Raton location. The Palm Beach Gardens location for some reason isn't as good. Go figure..

Really good gyro and they also have marinated chicken gyro on the spit as well as chicken souvlaki. They also have great falafel, pork, shrimp, and ribeye souvlaki. Everything tasted very fresh and it is run by a Greek family. Opa!

Was pretty good for a quick bite. Had the gyro platter and the food was good. Was very busy.

Definitely a fast tasty lunch place - as close to a genuine corner Greek place you might find in Astoria, Queens in 1987. Ventilation is poor though. Yes, loved the lunch but don't go there unless you want to smell like a greek kitchen for the rest of the day; casual. Be warned, parking is a nightmare....

The food was very fresh and the service was fast. Even with a lunch time rush the process was very smooth.

I just found out about this awesome little place yesterday. How did I find them? Yelp of course! Amazingly I have worked down the road from Souvlaki Fast for five years & I had no clue this place even existed. Once again Yelp helped me find an affordable place that I must admit I loved more than I expected I would. Eugenia gave me extremely detailed directions when I called. She gave me landmarks & was very helpful. They are on the NE corner of Spanish River & Federal Hwy, next to the Bank of America. With Eugenia's directions I found it without a problem. This is basically a takeout place with probably about five large tables. The tables are long (almost like picnic style-just not wood) so people can sit comfortably if they decide to eat inside. One thing I didn't care for was the interior lighting. It was bright! I walked in wearing my sunglasses & that was the first thing that I noticed. Oh well, if that is the worst thing I have to say about this place, then be it. You place your order at the counter & the menu board is on the wall between the front door & the counter. The menu covers your basic Greek favorites. Gyros, souvlaki platters, spinach pie, pita wraps, falefel, hummus, greek fries, rice, salads & I'm sure a few other items I can't think of. I noticed Dr. Browns soda in the refrigerated case for those of you who enjoy this classic soda. For the gyros they have the traditional lamb/beef that they slice vertically in thin shavings as well as chicken that they slice the same way. If you are ordering chicken as your protein they also have white meat chicken that is in nice sized chunks that are marinated, skewered and grilled. They also prepare the rib-eye the same way in that delicious marinade. Yummy! I was bringing dinner to a friends house and we wanted salads. I ordered two Caesar's, one with grilled chicken & the other with the grilled rib-eye steak. I asked Eugenia to place the chicken & steak in separate containers. Just one of my many quirks, I hate hot food on a cold salad. The salads were incredibly fresh & the Caesar dressing was good. I had the rib-eye & it was soft & delicious. The marinade was not overpowering at all & the flavor was scrumptious. I tasted hints of lemon, garlic and I have no idea what else was in the marinade but it was delicious. I tasted a piece of my friends chicken & it was also remarkably good. The counter service was great, the food was exceptionally good & the prices were more than fair. For a takeout place, Souvlaki Fast does it right.

Good Luck getting thru the phone to call in your order if you're on a short lunch break. BUT the food is great once you do get it. My Coworkers and I go there often.

This place is really delicious and nice portions for the gyro platter meal! The flavors are great, fries are crispy, tzatkizi is awesome, everything is cooked well and it holds up nicely for take out as well. Definitely a great place to go to enjoy some Greek food.

Awesome quality for reasonable prices. Fish specials are amazing. I eat here at least once a week.

Great spot for your greek fix. I have been to all 3 of their locations and this one is by far .. my favorite! The staffs are always so helpful and they're fast. I love that. When I'm hungry, I want to eat.. NOW! Tuesday and Friday - you can get $5 gyros (either chicken or beef/lamb mix). They are so good and with that that price .. You cannot beat it!! I come here at least twice a week. I highly recommend the beef/lamb mix gyro. It's so flavorful and extremely juicy. I don't particular care for the chicken, it's a bit greasy for me but very flavorful as well. If you do venture out to other items, try one of their platters. You can't really go wrong!

This is one of those places that's just way better than you'd expect it to be . The meat is fresh, the veggies fresh and everything on the menu is delicious . The chicken or ribeye skewers are delicious and they even have wheat pitas. Everything is extremely clean and well organized and done with a smile . If you are local, $15 or larger orders can be delivered. I thank Britt Z. for turning me on to this place. I'm a big fan . And gyro lovers , they have beef chicken or lamb

You are all crazy. This place kinda sucks. Was craving some falafel, so I stopped here for a quick dinner. Yo, seriously... what is all the fuss about? My falafel platter came with four (4) measly little falafel balls and some cold french fries- for over ten bucks. The hummus is like baby food. I don't think they even use tahini or garlic in their recipe. It is perhaps the only kind of hummus I've ever tried, that I simply could not eat. Very basic, unimpressive, bland and overpriced Mediterranean food. I can't understand all the high ratings. You can keep this place.

We love the food here but the service always deters us from really eating here. Once again today we thought we try and 20 minutes later they appear to have lost our order. Previously we had take out and there were missing items. I'm. It sure how a restaurant can get so many stars when we repeatedly have issues. Get the orders right.

Great place....fast delivery and a lot of food! Def a new fave, my coworkers and I got three different things (Greek Salad with Chicken Souvlaki, Lamb Gyro and the Falafel plate) and we were all really happy. Could be the new go-to lunch spot.

Got carryout from here about a month ago... just found receipt. Most important thing, this place defines a souvlaki as a single skewer of meat - about 3 pieces of meat on the skewer. We ordered a chicken souvlaki platter $10; which I thought was a little pricey for one skewer of meat. Platter comes with tzatziki sauce, a little pita, a little "greek" salad, and either rice or fries. Also ordered a falafel platter ($10) and a ribeye souvlaki platter ($12) - once again, only one small skewer of meat. Tzatziki sauce was decent; meat was tasty, but we didn't care for the salad dressing which was thick and had feta in it. Speaking of feta, other than the feta, I wouldn't have called the salad "greek". Takes Discover Card. In strip mall on corner which means when you leave, you either have to head north or go around back and head west i.e. away from ocean. Receipt says "$5 Gyros on Tues. & Fridays". Maybe need to try gyros next time.

This one is easy to pass up if you didn't know it was there, but once you visit, you'll definitely be back for more. Souvlaki Fast is definitely the spot where I have found the best gyro in my time in SoFla. To begin with, they gyro is beef and lamb (the way it is supposed to be) as opposed to some other places (that cut corners by using all beef and filler). The staff is friendly and highly knowledgeable about what they serve. Portions are definitely satifiying, but the flavor is where it's at. I think my only gripe would be that the restaurant is a bit dated and could use some freshening up on decor and ambience. The food however is really good here.

Never ever ever can turn down dining at Souvlaki Fast. Their service and FOOD is consistent as I've been coming here for 3 years now. The nice lady remembers me and remembers the last order I had! Their salads are huge and hits every craving I get. Normally, I avoid "chains" as a friend would call this, but honestly I see this as an independent "chain" as there are only so far 3-4 locations and the food service at each one is worthy of 5 stars for the quality and quantity of food on my plates!!

This is a great place for a quick lunch. I ordered the Gyro Platter, which comes with a side of tzatziki, pita, Greek salad and the choice of fries or rice. I opted for Greek fries, which I think was an upcharge of $1. Greek fries come with feta and lemon, I believe. The service is extremely friendly and quick (less than 5 minutes). They have only a couple of tables outside, but on a nice day it's great to sit out there. The platter is piled high with all the food and is $10. I used to think that was expensive, but I've learned you really can't get lunch for less than that these days, especially in Boca. This is one of my go-to lunch spots.

The craving for Greek food was real and as soon as I saw the "$5 gyro on Tuesday" sign, I was sold. I got the lamb/beef gyro and it did not disappoint, Mounds of meat, tomatoes, that bomb yogurt sauce all combined for fresh flavors and a satisfying meal. Like other reviewers have mentioned, this could easily be eaten for two meals, giving you great value for your money!

Four star lunch. Ribeye platter and shrimp pita come with salad and rice . Huge portions for 10$. Food is very good. Fresh salad and well cooked meat. Shrimp was also very good. Service is quick. If your just looking for a good quick Greek lunch this is the best option.

Good simple food and great value. We stopped by for dinner this evening and got a lamb gyro platter and a falafel platter. Quality was very solid! The lamb was served sizzling hot over a bed of flavorful rice and we'll seasoned salad. As for the falafel, it came out crispy and delicious and the fries were spot on too. Even the little accoutrement like the slightly charred pita and creamy tzatziki was great! One downside was the lightning. Oh my god it was unbearably bright, like we were eating in some sort of makeshift meth lab. Please guys, lose the florescents! That aside, 5 stars, especially for the excellent value! Dinner for 2 was just over $20.

There is an awful lot of Greek places in the area and it seems like more and more chains are popping up too, but hands down Souvlaki Fast is the best of the bunch. I'd still say Taverna Kyma is the best overall in Boca though. The place is simplistic from the menu to the layout. It's also very clean inside which is a huge plus for food food/take-out places. The chicken pita was humungous, might have been enough for two people so you definitely get your money's worth. Sometimes in order to have success you have to stick the basics and this place has it down to a science. Places like Gyroville and other pop-up Pita joints should take follow. SF is simple, effective and delicious.

Good food, very fresh. Quality and quantity are there for sure. Not very atmospheric but what can you expect? A great place for good carry out. Seems like it takes a little longer than it should to fill the order. Could use another person actually making the food. Don't miss the five dollar Tuesday and Fridays.
